Titanium Dioxide is a natural mineral sunscreen that acts as a physical blocker which absorbs, reflects or scatters light. UV resistant which enhances its stability and ability to protect skin as well as protecting the product formula from deterioration. Sunscreens designed for infants or people with sensitive skin are often based on titanium dioxide and/or zinc oxide, as these mineral UV blockers are believed to cause less skin irritation than chemical UV absorber ingredients.

利用反射方式抵抗 UVA、UVB，為物理性防曬成份，可以隔絕部分UVA及完全阻隔UVB

UVA的波長最高320 nm – 400 nm，可深入表皮層及真皮層，是引起曬斑及傷害骨膠原的元凶。
UVB的波長290 nm – 320 nm, 只能滲透皮膚之表皮層，會引起曬斑, 曬黑, 曬傷 , 脫皮或紅腫。好處增加維他命D
